Patches

We often refer to our beloved Patches as the wonder pony. He teaches the majority of our tiny tot lessons and has taught many little ones how to post, groom and steer. He loves treats and “tolerates” his best friend, Gus, when they have pasture play dates.

T-Bone

T-Bone is our (only) resident Morgan lesson horse at the barn and maintains all of those Morgan qualities (pleasant personality and willing attitude) with ease. He’s great with lunge lessons and beginner riders learning to balance and canter. He’s a homebody who loves to take naps and hang out with the goats.

Vinnie

Vinnie is an integral part of our leasing program at Willow Falls Farm. He’s Mya Lear’s equitation horse and an instant favorite of young riders. He’s our resident pattern professional and a good teacher for anyone looking to try a challenge . Fun fact: he loves bananas and will drink out of a water bottle like a human!

Gus

Gus is a former show horse. His facial expressions - constant utter delight and surprise - are some of our favorites at Willow Falls Farm. His expressive eyes and quirky demeanor make him a great lesson horse - he gives even our best riders a challenge. He likes to remind all types of riders that a calm voice is important and, sometimes, you have to be the horse’s therapist.

Angel

Angel is Vinnie’s half brother! He is an excellent teacher for many different levels of rider. He’s great for learning correct diagonals and how to canter and recently started showing locally with our Academy riders.

Sonja

Sonja is the lady of our bunch (and she knows it). She is renowned for teaching beginners, adults and children alike. She’s ticklish and a little mare-ish sometimes but always safe and sweet. At any time of the day, she’d rather be out in the pasture with her boy crew. She’s also a cover star. Psst…don’t tell her - it may get to her head.

Crow

Crow is one of the newest additions to our Willow Falls Farm family. He’s a young, talented show horse that maintains his gentlemanly behavior with tasteful ease. He’s currently part of our leasing program. The best part? His registered name is “Check, Please” and we really love that.

Cowboy

Cowboy, fondly known as Cowboy Couture, is also a lovely part of our Willow Falls Farm leasing program. He came to the farm in 2020, and we can’t wait to see him in the show ring with Judy Oleson.
